Undergraduate Research Training

We are excited to offer training and mentorship to senior undergraduate and post-baccaleaurate students currently enrolled at Columbia University or Barnard College in NYC who are keen to learn about applying psychology research in private practice, creating value as a psychologist for audiences across media platforms, and disseminating and implementing evidence based behavioral science.

Research Opportunities at Together CBT

Research projects may include:

  • Collaborating on content creation through conducting research, creating outlines, providing feedback and managing social media marketing

  • Developing and participating in webinars focused on psychology and, or interdisciplinary topics

  • Identifying peer-reviewed and high impact research articles to support consulting work

  • Conducting literature reviews on variety of topics and presenting findings to the team

  • Attending didactics on clinical conceptualization and care for children, adolescents and adults

  • Participating in exposure sessions and behavioral experiments with adult and adolescent patients as a confederate

  • Helping facilitate therapy groups for anxiety disorders

If you are interested in applying for a RA position for the Fall Term, please email us your CV and a short description of your interest in the lab (100-200 words) by August 15, 2022. Deadline for applications for a RA position for the Spring term is Nov. 21, 2022. Please note only prior enrolled RAs will be permitted to work with us over the summer.
